Senior Electrical Engineer at Electro Optical Industries Inc.

Electro Optical Industries is currently looking to add a Senior
Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for the electronics design of
new and improved products to replace older designs and difficult to manufacture
products. The engineering function encompasses research, design, development
and test of electronic circuits from component to system level. We are looking
for a team player who is passionate and driven to improve and maintain existing
product designs and documentation, in order to serve our customers’ needs for
excellence.
Description:
·
Design, develop, modify, test and
integrate electronic equipment, electronic parts, products, components, or
circuitry
·
Prototype development and documentation
for production, including specification reviews,
development program timelines and reports, design reviews, analog and/or
digital design, documentation packages, preproduction builds and transfers to
production
·
Solve challenging electrical design
problems in the areas of analog and digital feedback and control circuits,
power stages, communication and microprocessor circuits, FPGA’s and user
interfaces
·
Develop firmware/software and/or
interface with firmware and software engineers
·
Determine design approaches and
parameters
·
Analyze electrical requirements to
determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
·
Provide documentation and processes that
enable current and future employees to understand products and be able to
reproduce required results
·
Prepare technical reports, presentations,
and contribute to proposals
·
Design to applicable emission and safety
standards
Requirements
& Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics,
or related degree
·
Minimum 3 years of prior related experience
·
Ability to travel to work onsite at client facilities
·
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating
a sense of urgency and results orientated
·
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·
Strong attention to detail and deadlines
·
Aptitude to work collaboratively and drive consensus and alignment
within and across organizational boundaries
·

Required Education, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors of Science or Bachelors or Arts Degree per Raytheon guidelines in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Computer Science, Engineering Science, Robotics or STEM related field. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Cumulative GPA of 3.00 is required.
- Applied engineering experience or coursework with exposure in one or more of the following domains: Systems Engineering, Software or Firmware development, Systems Integration and/or Test, ASIC development, Cybersecurity, System Security, Digital Electronics design, or similar work history.
- Past work experience (professional or academic) interacting with multidisciplinary teams of system design professionals including electrical, mechanical, software and logistics engineers
