Internship at Ocean Optics


Ocean Optics’ Center of Spectroscopic Excellence is seeking candidates currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Optics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics to participate in an optical internship assignment. This person will be responsible for working in a multi-disciplinary team focused on optical design and experimentation. The candidate will be supporting experienced engineers in the disciplines of Optics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics working on the next generation of spectrometers.  The intern will be exposed to multiple areas of technology in which Ocean works to provide spectroscopic solutions. Basic Qualifications: Actively enrolled in an Engineering or Physics Degree program from an accredited college/university and experience with optical design codes such as Zemax, Code V, or Fred.
