Job Description
The
candidate will provide support in manufacturing of optical components, its
certification, and testing. The support includes ability to operate computer-controlled
equipment, align optical components, document work and generate reports.
Responsibilities also include instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
The position requires a “hands-on” with strong attention to details, creative
problem-solving skills, and ability to operate programmable equipment, and
measurement equipment.

Research Scholarship in Japan
The Government of Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture,
Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) offers a Research Scholarship to foreign
students. The scholarship is good for 2 years of non-degree research at a
Japanese university OR through completion of a Master's or PhD course. The
2019 Scholarship Applications are NOW OPEN, with applications due on June 1, 2018.
